Colby Broadwater served for 34 years in the US Army, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant General.

Colby commanded at every level, from platoon to numbered Army and Joint Task Force. Colby's roles included Office of The Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, US European Command, NATO, and much more. Among many distinguished commands, Colby commanded operations in Turkey and Northern Iraq as Commander, Joint Task Force North during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
